Please people, I'm desperate here :faint:

So I've just got a new Mac :squee: My tablet seems to work, but unfortunately GIMP is not recognising my tablet as a tablet, so pressure opacity is not working. I'm trying to fix this but what alternatives are there?

I cannot afford to buy Photoshop, I could save up for Elements if I need to, but I'd prefer not to.

So any suggestions??

Thank you!!!

GIMP is a real pain on a Mac! I had to go through each and every one month trail that Adobe has for all of the Photoshops before I had to break down and buy one. CS3 can be pirated, but nothing newer, and CS2 should be able to be legally downloaded from Adobe if I'm not mistaken (I'll see if I can find a link). I've tried Inkscape, which is kind of nifty, but it's vector, and there's Fire Alpaca, which is like a free version of Pain Tool Sai and works really well.

This should be the CS2 link if you are interested in that: [link]
